Jr High Basketball Scores Boys and upcoming games

I was informed that Ironton and Burg play this Saturday in boys jr high. Does anybody know a start time for 7th and 8th grade boys games and is location at Ironton? This should be a very good game between two of the best in the tri-state.

I will say this N.West 7th is the real deal. They could have scored 100 tonight against us. They put great pressure on the ball at all times, even up 30 but the 2nd string has to get better as well. I haven't seen N.A play this year but have in the past as they were younger. The Copas boy might be the best player in the family, and if you know that family they had some pretty good ball players. Is this game Monday?

I know Burg 7th won big. Not sure on the 8th grade

yes Burg 7th won by alot and Burg 8th won by 6 or 8. 8th was a very good game. pretyy impressed with Ironton physical play. eventually our size wore them down but was a very good game if you like Hoops

Thanks for the info. I saw burg scrimmage fairland and ironton is undeafted in ovc and fairlands only loss. So I was interested to see if ironton could handle burg. That burg team is talented and huge. Have they had a loss yet?

No they have not lost. I was also at the scrimmage. Based off that I assume the Fairland/Ironton game was pretty close.

No they have not lost. I was also at the scrimmage. Based off that I assume the Fairland/Ironton game was pretty close.

Ironton pressed them really hard and controlled the game. They play tonite at Fairland so hopefully it will be a closer and better game and be like last year when they split regular season but fairland won in tourney also.

Burg over Northwest in 7th grade.

Went and watched the 7th grade game burg and northwest. Northwest has a good team. They have three pretty good ball players. Burg starting 5 was overall better than northwest. I think this was the difference in the game. The only head scratcher to me was the northwest coach went full court man to man press but face guarded without a safety on their side of the court. Burg had like 8 points of run outs.

Game was close until 4th then burg kind of opened up a big lead.

Left at halftime on the 8th. Burg was winning comfortably

Northwest had a really tough game lastnight against a really good North Adams team. I think it really hurt them tonight. They sure didn't play very well at all.
