Watched my first game last week.

8th grade is definitely a talented group. Some great skill-type players, some very, very good role players. They will contribute and make an immediate impact when they hit the JV and Varsity programs. Hope they all stay together and keep playing.

Will be a treat to watch them.

Do they play Waverly this year? Who will be there toughest opponent, as I would like to see them get challenged. I watched the WCH game and not much resistance from them.

Waverly and Jackson do not play each other this season. If last year is any indication these two teams are pretty evenly matched. Back and forth game until the very end.

If you look at common opponents from this year it's still close. Jackson beat Wheelersburg 28-8. Waverly beat Burg 28-6. Sure would like to see these two play each other.

toast you are correct about Waverly..........pretty evenly matched up teams but I believe the ironmen let one slip past them last year with the tigers.........I say its safe to say the ironmen have a bitter taste over the Waverly game a year ago and would love nothing more than to line up and play em again....but the schedule does not allow it.......maybe they will get redemption sometime in the future.........but one things for sure about this 8th grade football team........they are FOR REAL!!!!!!!!! they score at will with a defense that will jar a man to the bone with every hit!!! they are hungry!!!!!! ironmen fans need to start talking the hype up over this group cause they are about to bring the ironmen up to another level in the years to come!!!!!!

the 8th grade took it Miami Trace last night.......lighting speed, and hard hitting took Miami Trace out of the game from the very first play and was a long night for MT........on a side note the 7th grade won as well which leaves both the 7th and 8th grade teams UNDEFEATED at this point......

I watched Jackson vs Logan early in the year. The final was 24-14. Jackson has A LOT OF SPEED AND TALENT. Players that stood out were number 8 36 and number 2 the QB. Tall athletic kid that can sling the ball. I must say, Jackson JR. High program is the cream of the crop. Every year it seems they are undefeated or close.
