I'm not for sure if they are all 5th or combined 5-6th but these girls are very very good. They obviously have worked hard and practice a bunch. Hard work pays off, every girl on the team is a player. hats off to you MD

I had the oppurtunity to watch this great young group of kids coached by Kyle Pertuset in the Fall. Kaibi, Olivia, and Gabby were extremely effective in the offensive execution. Olivia's jumper continues to improve, while Kaibi's becoming more aggressive with the basketball. Coach Pennington has the girls playing well now. I recently seen them play at the Portsmouth West Middle School tournament, and they showed they could compete with many teams in the region.

I heard the Minford girls beat the West girls today. Was told that their coach did an excellent job! Their coach has them firing on all cylinders!! Girls played excellent. I guess Thurman, Gross and Winn were extremely tough today. Not sure of the score but Minford won by 1. Winn made the winning point.
