I know Waverly defeated Minford in one 6th Grade Semifibal today to advance to the 6pm Championship game. I had to leave before the other semifinal was settled between Valley and Northwest. Waverly's 6th grade team is pretty solid. They are HUGE and pretty active defensively.

In the first 5th Grade contest of the day today, Valley eliminated Waverly. When I left, it was early in the 3rd quarter between Minford's 5th and Northwest's 5th.

Sorry I don't have more info for you.

Northwest 6th beat Valley 6th. Minford 5th beat Northwest 5th. Valley 5th beat Minford 5th for championship.

Waverly beat Northwest in the finals for the 6th grade championship. Northwest was very scrappy, and had a little point guard who could really handle the rock. This 6th grade team from Waverly has some potential if they keep working hard and playing as unselfish as they do.
