Wholesale keeps going down but the retail stays the same. A Christmas present from Marathon.

Matt, I believe Marathon and John Clark would force you out of business. I think the word is called monopoly.

Its 2.17 at the Speedway across from the Ashland Town Center but you have to have Speedy Reward and a Krogers card.

Did anyone see the letter to the editor in the Times yesterday from the guy in Toledo about gas gouging in p-town? He said that he has been driving through p-town for several weeks or months now and gas is always the highest here and by 20 or 30 cents.

I have always found that the highest price on gas is the station in Cattlettsburg closest to the refinery, the one on I64.

Well you see that station is the last on the route to get gas. So they have to pay the largest transportation cost.

There has to be something we can do to get them back. :(

I thought I heard that Ohio has like a .55 gallon tax on every gallon and if that is true and what RRR said about price of wholesale gas would that mean it is costing the gas station around 2.08 per gallon. Does that sound right I would really like to know so we can truly see how much they are making off of us. :?

Emil Blonsky state tax is 24 cents and federal tax is 18.4, now I'm not sure if there is a city or county tax. So tax on gas here is only 32.4 cents not counting any city or state. tax.
