Ohio are seeing less drivers on the road
Compared to last year at this time Ohio road are seeing 3.6% drivers on the roads. Bigest reason for this (reported on the local news) Gas Prices.

Where are the fewer drivers at. They certainly are not in the area where I live. It has looked like normal traffic flow everywhere I have been this summer.

You have to wonder where the bumbling news media gets their information.

Now I have to wonder where Triple A gets their information and can't help but think how inaccurate it is in my area of the country
Re: Ohio are seeing less drivers on the road
I drive a truck and the only decrease I've seen, is in the big Campers.

I heard on the news yesterday that driving (consumption) was down 4 %.
That's not really very much.

I bet my family and I have cut our driving in half for the last 6 months. My wife and I both teach and we ride our bikes for short trips around town, and we make runs for the little things we need on our bikes.

I DRIVE TO COLUMBUS EVERYDAY AND I'VE NOT NOTICED ANYTHING.
Re: Ohio are seeing less drivers on the road
The state of Ohio collects tax money from gas sales. Just compare the current tax revenue against revenue from any point in time. This would give you a fairly accurate indication of the # of cars on the road. You would have to assume that the tax rate has stayed the same and that the fuel effeciency of the cars has not changed. I am sure that any good reporter can find this information
