The Revolution already happened - INCLUSION WON - ALL PEOPLE have equal right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" like it says in the Declaration/Constitution - which, NOT THE BIBLE or any other religious writing - is the governing document of this country applicable to all people whatever gender or color - and what a struggle it took to get us there!
I'm old enough to remember the hateful Jim Crow segregationist era and the struggle to outlaw/eliminate those hateful exclusionary rules/laws and declare them unconstitutional.

Inclusion and equality is good for most things, but not for marriage when it regards anything other than one man and one woman.

MD, the government has a compelling interest in regulating marriages between a man and his daughter, a man and his dog, etc. The most obvious reason a man shouldn't marry his own daughter is due to the whole genetics issue, risk of birth defects, risk of abuse, and so on. But can you provide me one non-religious based reason that justifies the government prohibiting gay marriage? I can't think of a single one.
