Seems like it has rained non stop since Tuesday, so I went over the Hocking River today expecting it to be high and muddy and it was low and clear. I couldn't believe it.

Warm days are good, but I hope we get more warmer nights in March and April than we did last year. Them chilly nights ruin shroom abundance.

man, we gotta heap big bunch of rain coming this week. but I praise God it hain't all snow. and I'm digging these temps. gonna get me one of them there fishin licenses next week I spect.

guess what, next week on Friday, it'll be the 1st day of spring on the20th, and I am ready. I'm itchin to get outside, a lot.

april 14th is the day scheduled for raising the dam back up here at lake white.

Is the big side of Lake White near 104 filled with water and high enough for boaters? I am going to take my bass boat somewhere this weekend just to run it and make sure there are no issues before I start going to Erie and St Clair. Lake White is sort of close and perfect for a initial run in the boat to make sure everything is good to go

I don't see any reason why you can't use the ramp. and stay on that end of the lake red.

I have a much easier dock option just feet from me. but it's inaccessible till the lake is back at summer pool. if you need anything call me. 740-835-8403. you should stop by friend. i'll be here catching up on yardwork

the odnr said that the lake gates will be on the 15th. so bring on the rain after that.

plenty of fishin going on here now. today is Monday april 6th. they are going to raise the dam. this lake fills up to summer pool really quick if we get the rain. lake white is kinda like down in a bowl. and between pee pee creek, and all the water from homes draining downhill at all the houses here. it will get to summer pool quickly.

i hope everybody has an awesome spring after we get past this cold patch of weather. I got cabin fever really bad.
