Bolt, Kinda feels like the time I injured it 5 years ago. Bad pain and locked up, hard to get up or move in any direction. Been laying on the heating pad, but I bet it takes some time to heal up the way it's feeling. Hope we don't get anymore snow this year. Tired of the below zero shi+ too. Now I bet this summer will be a hundred in the shade. Ohio weather is a pain in the a$$ anymore, when it comes to temperatures.

Ganahl said last night the spring will be cooler than normal due to the great lakes being 100% frozen,so you'll have some time, but not good for morel hunters.

I'm use to not finding very many morel's about every spring anyways.  So that will be normal for me on that theory.   I just hope the summer isn't miserable/blazing sticky hot, I can't breathe in that shi+. :122249

A cool spring is a plus because it may make the summer seem shorter a wee bit.   Can't stand the high heat and humidity. :122249 Shrooms: Could make a late season for them and mess up the whole specific time frame if the cooled hangs around too long. Might be a few popping but it will definitely mess the season up. Spring storms: Will mess with them too but they will come anyways when the warm decides to move in. Michigan Shrooms: This has been one cold winter but up there it's usually colder than Ohio in regular winters and shrooms still seem to flourish up there. Cool springs or not/Great Lakes all around Michigan and they have been frozen solid many a time over the years. Ole DS use to bring them back in coolers full by the pounds. Big suckers too, I seen them. He stopped out on the ridge and was showing us them one evening on his way home. He would go up there and get a hotel room and hunt shrooms 3 to 4 days every year. Their season up there is later than ours because of the cold, makes me think that can happen here too, if the warm comes in later sometimes/each year could be different. Could be, it moves the "time frame" up a little bit later. One will never know though, I believe they are natures secret. Big thing is know your tree's and east and west sun, the pro's around here say.    Basically just gotta get out and look and not give up easy. :122245 :122245   We Amateurs might get lucky and run into a bunch one of these times, Bolt. 8) 8) Never know buddy, as ole AA would say.

I'm not going to even shovel the 1 to 3 we get over night.  My poor back is done. :122249 Lets hope the temp comes up fast in the morning and we wont get the 1 to 3. If it don't and the temp comes up later in the afternoon we could see the 1 to 3 if it snows all morning before noon. Could be 6" out there before noon time. Get that slick paved driveway shoveled out Bolt, before she packs down.  Snow to rain tomorrow Bolt. Time frame temp rise unknown for tomorrow. http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/l/43138:4:US

NWS don't even have an advisory for this county, so it shouldn't amount to much. They been wrong before we shall see,you just can't trust any of these weather people. They got the best job in the world, they can be wrong all they want and never get fired

WC usually 80% because they are on top of it 24/7. That's all they do and have experts for each season. But no one can predict it perfect for one tiny area for each county. All they do is warn ya and give everyone a safe heads up and let ya know it's coming. But they do know what a storm system is capable of and what it can do. That's why advisories/watches/and warnings are put out, to keep the public safe and aware of the possibilities and the capability of a storm, no matter what the season is. Light snow going on out there now, long way till noon tomorrow, give or take. Get the shovel out Bolt. No sleeping in tomorrow.   My shovel is retired no matter what little Hocking county gets.

Why the WC is more accurate than most is that they update the forecast several times day and night. 24/7. Updated it 3 times over night. No 1 to 3 over night or calling for that today. They update and update which is a good thing. :-D Calling for more freezing rain this morning going to regular rain but back to a little mixed again this evening. 24° over night. I'll take it over below zero temps any day. Snowing out there now mixed with freezing rain. Throw a little salt on your driveway Bolt.   You should be good.   40's Wednesday. May be 50's to start out the following week. What a change that will feel like. Nice! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Been snowing pretty heavy out there for the last 2 hours. The less than one inch deal looking to be more if it keeps this up.

"Could" be deep snow accumulation on the third phase of winter storm Thor. A back side pounding. Unusual, but they have a heads-up for it. South half of the State.

Early this morning Bob Nunally acted like Southern Ohio could get as much as 10 inches but didn't say how far south. Now WC Logan forecast is acting like we won't get that much, rain and snow Wednesday and light snow Thursday morning. Possible accumulation 1-3 Wed ,1 inch Thurs. ,then Mike Bettis has this area shaded in 8-12, so which is it WC ?

ground will be wet so the fist couple inches of snow won't stick unless it freezes big time before the snow gets here
