Solos / Duets

I am so tired of everyone getting so worked up over a solo or a duet. I don't care what grade your in, or how good you think you are, the person who is sitting first chair should get it. This is just my opinion. What's yours?

I personally would give the solo to a senior as long as they are playing first music as there will be solos to come for the underclassmen. Unless of course this was for a contest, then I would give it to the best player.

It's hard for me to belive that LHSTrumpet09 would say his section leader deserves something...normally he thinks he should be the one playing all the solos...hahah.....but i love that kid

Just like the best player should play....the best at that instrument should play that solo

Idk, it's kinda tough. I guess it just depends what the situation is...
