I just watched it on NBC.COM and have to say this was the best one of the new season.

It's gotten away from its original theme. I don't watch it any more. It shoulda been ended with dignity as the movie was.

This was the first one I actually got to see this season. I think it was way too much drama that has nothing to do with football! I will still continue to watch it as long as it doesn't get really stupid!

great show. it should get better now that street is out of mexico and the coach is back. this show was not meant to be like the movie. the end of the movie was great(i hated the ending the first time i saw it) but with that music playing, it always brings a tear. anyway, back to the show, i thought that putting it on friday nights was a mistake because of the obvious topic.

Last night I did not care much for the show as it really sems to being turned into a drama and going away from the high school football theme in a big way. :(

if this show is going to survive this year they to start developing some younger players/cast to keep people interested. i think they have went as afr as they can with the street character. riggins is very interesting. coach and his wife are great. fans saved this show for this year. i love the show the way it is. the problem with a show like this is alot of people watch it for the football aspect, which this year has taken somewhat of a backseat. the problem with dedicating the whole hour to just football would not work because some fans (girls, most women) don't want to watch an exclusive football show. plus, it is also tough because it is based upon a high school backdrop. you can only keep the main players/students around for so long before you have to graduate them. all around i like the show and hope it gets more interesting and hope that we can get another season. one more thing: why would they put this on friday nights to start out the season with? i know the obvious friday/friday night tie in but its about football and the people who watch this show because of football would probably be at a football game. i had to tivo every episode so far.

It's from the book (Friday Night Lights) So mostly it's about high school football but, it goes a lot deeper.
