Re: Talk About Your Favorite Summer Things
More hours of daylight in the evening - I don't like to drive after dark, and rarely do so except for very short distances in town on city streets [never on a highway at highway speeds]. Sometimes I feel a little "trapped" in the winter due to dangerous weather/road conditions and darkness.
We're just a little over a week away [thanks to the new rules] from the start of Daylight Savings Time. Hooray!
On the other hand, I'd much rather be "too cold" than "too hot", and I really don't like water/sun/beach activities at all.

Swimming...I swam as late as Sept 29th last year. That was about the latest I recall ever going into the pool.

The first full summer without Joe Nuxhall on the radio Ice cold beer after cutting the grass. A great 75 degree day, light wind, at the ballpark. I can't wait to head to Cincy for a good day game!
