What is going on in southern Ohio this year, the OMEA has the state marching band finals schedule up and we currently only have three southern ohio bands qualified.
South Point
Wellston
Coal Grove

I am looking at the State Finals schedule on the OMEA website and that just doesn't look right to me, I know other local bands have qualified. Can someone clarify this for me.

Green I know has qualified, and West SHOULD qualify before the end of the year. They were only two points away in two categories last Saturday from getting the two I's they needed for state. They will more than likely play at four more contests, which should give them the oppurtunity to take that step up to the next level.

I thought Green had qualified as well but they are not showing on the schedule for state.

West qualified today at both Green and Ironton. This is the first time in 13 years they've gone to state.
