not bad shows there Bait.....True Grit would have to be my favorite of the listed......when they remade True Grit in 2010 with Jeff Bridges I was really impressed with the remake.....typically remakes are not nearly as good as the original but in this case I do have to argue the 2010 version of True Grit was dang near scene for scene of the original John Wayne classic and IMO Jeff Bridges was fantastic at playing ol "Rooster" Cogburn!!

jeff bridges said GD like 3 times in that movie, the remake. I swore I wouldn't watch it, because I could not imagine that movie being remade but I did. john wayne movies stand the test of time because of no nudity, or cussing. you may hear a hell or darn. but that was pushing it. trust me on this movie remember. you'll love it.

I like when john wayne asks glen Campbell how long them texicans had been riding sheep. because his horse was so much bigger.

just saw a dandy last night. -------------------- set in the 50's it's a rescue mission by the usa coast guard. the name of it is ''the finest hours'' it's a keeper.
