Jimmy Buffett passes away at age 76

The man known as "El President of Margaritaville" passed away Friday. He was 76.

He leaves behind his wife Jane, and three children. JB had a long career...with 30 albums. The hits...Margaritaville, Come Monday, Son of a son of a Sailor, Cheeseburger in Paradise, He went to Paris, Volcano and others.

He was a graduate of S. Mississippi with a degree in history in 1969 (I was 9 going on 10). He once referred to his style of music as "drunk Carribean rock n roll". JB had some business savvy as well....Margaritaville Stores, Cafes, and hotels. He had a net worth of 1 billion dollars.

RIP Jimmy....Margaritaville will be sad for a while but, as the song goes...."Breathe in, Breathe out, Move on". He wrote that song in honor of Hurricane Katrina survivors.
