I heard it through the Grapevine.....Marvin Gaye.....Isley Brother', Smokey Robinson and Gladys Knight and the Pips put this song out before Marvin Gaye.

Happy Together.....The Turtles.....this group was a former surf band known as the Crossfires. group was put together by Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman who later performed as Flo and Eddie

Daydream Believer.....The Monkees.....This song was written by John Stewart of the Kingston Trio...This was the Monkees first hit where they played their own instruments.

I Second That Emotion.....Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.....Robinson cowrote this song with guitarist Al Cleveland after the latter accidentally misstated the "motion" phrase while the two men were Christmas Shopping.
