Seen a few rubs is about it. I did pass this 11 Pointer up the first day that I hunted, had him at 20 yards in the morning and 10 yards again that evening.

I am now finding 8-14" diameter trees on my property that are getting hit. Lots of big rubs. I have a couple other areas that have a few smaller rubs too. Not a tremendous amount of scrapes yet, but I would think there will be plenty of scrapes popping up over the next 2 weeks as the juices start boiling!

IMO small scrapes right now are being made by younger bucks. Small bucks and big mature bucks make small rubs.....big mature bucks make big rubs.

Best thing to hunt over right now and for the next several weeks will be big buck sign between bedding areas and food sources at daybreak and last light in the evening.

Anyone having any luck. I was fortunate to take a pretty nice buck saturday evening, shouldve been a big 8pt but messed up his right side while in velvet. If his right side matched his left he would of grossed scored right at 150 but he has character and that is what i like about his rack, very happy with him he will look good on the wall. Good luck.

Only got a few on my phone but they didn't turn out very well. Would've like to got some in the woods but was unable to, there were some dogs came in and was trying to get to him and had 2miles back to the house to get a camera and some help. So went ahead field dressed him and got him out of there.Sorry.
