22 long Rifle ammo

Post by ChessyFan09 »

Has anyone seen 22 LR ammo for sale lately ? Where ? How much ?What's the reason for the disappearance ? Is there a shortage or is it ammo hoarders buying it up due to the Liberal agenda to damage or destroy the Second amendment ?

.22, 9mm and .223 are hard to come by right now.

The liberals are to blame 100%. Its hard to believe that the manufacturers cant keep up, but hopefully it will level back out in the next 2-3 months.

I just bought a SW M&P 15-22 and put my slidefire on it. Fun to shoot but I hate seeing my last batch of .22 bulk ammo dwindle away so quickly.

If the Libs were as good at public service (not to be confused with politics)as they are being gun SALESMEN,this country would be much better off.If anything good can be said about the short ammo situation it is that hopefully the emphasis will go back to marksmanship and making each shot well placed and accurate instead of the spray and pray I've seen too much of lately at the range.

Liberals have ruined this great country. The end.

When politicians continue to dig our country (us) deeper in debt every day with no end in sight, continually attack our freedoms, live by a different set of rules than the American people who voted for them, we are in deep trouble.

Many people realize this and are stocking up on ammo.

.22, 9mm, 380 and 223 are hard to find right now.

Have heard many reasons for the shortages.

While all reasons play a role in the supply and demand a big reason for the amounts being offered is the manufactures run certain rounds at a time during the production year. They did not project the increase demands on the above mentioned rounds during their run of production.
Therefore we have the low supply right now.
This kind of helps explain why there is a shortage of some rounds while other calibers are available.
I know right now it is easier to get the very rare 5mm round then it is to the 22

Wow thats ridiculous for .22 bullets. My buddy told me it was even getting hard to get powder to reload.

Powder isnt that hard to find, but primers are very hard to find.

Yes the price is steep, but online people are selling 500 rd bricks for $40-80!!

A few more .223 and 7.62x39 showing up here and there at somewhat higher prices. The 22 LR still surprisingly scarce.

Try Rural King, Cheaper Than Dirt, or Sportsmans Guide.
