You are only 25 minutes from 93 (and less if you know the road!). You will hit 93 about 3 miles southwest of oak hill. When you hit 93 you are to the flat part of the road and it is an easy trip to Jackson (do not speed through Oak Hill!).

52 to 140 to 93 to 32. From Ironton it should take 1 hour and 45 minutes tops! I live in South Webster and can get to Athens in just a little over an hour.

If you are a little more adventurous----when you get to South Webster take a left at Hanes Chevy and follow Jackson St all the way to 279---take a left on 279 and in 1.5 miles you are on 139. Take a right on 139 and in 15 minutes you are on 32! This is the way most South Webster people go to Jackson.

52--140---Jackson st---279---139---32.

Much easier than going to Portsmouth and up 23 and over to 32!
svbt, are you sure that none of these roads will be flooded? Because im looking at having to drive all the way to Portsmouth too! I just want to be sure so that I'm not halfway there and catch a road that is flooded

I guarantee you that the 2nd route is not flooded (the adventurous one). I have never seen that way flooded. We are leaving tomorrow morning and going to the Convo that way. It will take us 1 hour from South Webster. ( I drive fast!)

Sometimes 140 floods at Eifort about 4 miles past South Webster but it is not flooded right now. If it is not flooded now it won't be tomorrow. There are no small rivers that run beside 140.

140 is open all the way to 93. If you are unfamiliar with the adventurous route stick with 140---it is 5 minutes longer, but if you don't know the roads it is the same!

52-140-93-32

good luck!

What would be the best route to take if I'm coming from the Ripley-Leon West Virginia area?

93 is clear...one lane north of Pedro has water on it but is passable. No need to go all the way to 140.
