RV won 67-51. Heard it got ugly with fans, players and police involved that's unfortunate. Glad to see RV won again!

RV finally plays a game that does not go into OT......after 3 OT battles in a row, RV finally wins one in regulation......Green committed 31 fouls to RV's 13........Game was close till the 4th when RV pulled ahead playing solid half-court defense and only allowed one shot attempt per possession......thanks to a team effort on the defensive boards, with Dovenbarger leading the way......he has put up some huge reb numbers the last 3-4 games......Twyman led the Raiders in scoring with 22,...... Rusk, Qualls, Morrow and Dovenbarger also in double digit scoring....all of Qualls coming in the second half.......

Another great win for the Raiders!!!.......JV team got the W as well......a much needed win for a team that had lost 4 of their last 5.......this JV team just needs to keep working hard and continue to make the chemistry better.......

Overall, it was a great night for the RV Raiders.....actually, the drive down there is not that bad taking 140 out of Oak Hill....59mins from Vinton(intersection of 160 and 325)...........

River Valley plays Chesapeake(1-20), Gallia Academy(1-23) and Federal Hocking(1-24) this week........all at home.....3 of 3 would be the optimum outcome........RV will have to be at their very best this week and take advantage of being at home......really would love to see what "Fort Bidwell" or the "Stable" would look and feel like with a packed and hostile crowd.....we need to beg the community to come and support this team that is winning more games than those of the recent past......well....should be a busy and fun week.....Ill try and keep those of you that care posted.....sorry 93 about the score posting.....didnt access the site last night and got some well deserved sleep in time this morning..... :-D
