Coaches that can still ball

Post by mattash »

Who's the best coaches that can still play right now.

The ones I know

1. Kyle Miller Piketon
2. Matt Rhodes Waverly
3. Blaine Fuller Coal Grove
4. Evan Salyers Fairland

Alex Bare Coal grove

Who else can play?

Better than Kyle? Miller has to be the best player in SEO

I watched Barnett lock down and frustrate Cam Thoroughman his senior year. Cam got so frustrated with the full court hounding from Barnett that he fouled himself out of the game in the 3rd qtr of his last Hugh school game ever. Barnett went for 28. He can still play man. Take Miller in this topic, obviously he’s great but my pick will remain Robbie Barnett.

I mean, I don’t even think he’s 21 yet so I’d hope he could still ball.

I’m sure Connor Scott can still collect ankles. Ater is probably around 40 now and I guarantee he ain’t giving up anything sweet

Jackson has 2 gems:
Jon Ervin - his handles are unreal not to mention his court vision, dropping dimes!
Dan Fulks - can flat out guard you, especially when he goes into commando mode 😂

Those OVC coaches can really play. CG with a few, Fairlands has a number of them. If we are talking middle school and JV, Thayer Flynn (Fairland MS) and Austin Collins (Rock Hill JV) who scored over 1000 at RH can also get after it

Jeff Lisath, coach of Dayton Northridge and Portsmouth HS graduate of 1978. He keeps himself in great shape, and I'm quite sure he still has that competitive fire that he demonstrated leading the Trojans to the 78 state title.

I seen Matt Hoops dunk a ball in his game suit last week and there are stories he made 92 3 pointers in a row in a practice last year

He does wear his sneakers with that suit occasionally for suit dunking situations.

Evan Keslar from Webster, he can flat out guard, and if his feet are set go ahead and count it.

J Ervin is very shifty as well.

If you want the right to complain you must be doing one of two things:
1. Doing your best to make yourself better
2. Doing something to make the world better

If you are not doing one of these things then shut your mouth!

send him to Piketon on Sundays at 1. Miller would average 50 in a high school game right now.
