As those that know him and his coaching have said, Coach Jarrett is a good coach. He got every ounce of talent from his teams, especially these past 2 seasons. Meadowbrook, while not good, was not a team that would beat themselves. You had to actually go out on the floor & win the game. They were always well coached, clearly scouted others well & he put his team in positions to win. I honestly don't know that the Colts had a player who would have started for any other team in the MVL(maybe Crooksville. maybe) over the past 2 seasons.

How did Coach Jarrett's meeting with parents/fans go this evening ( Tuesday) at the Downtown Arena?

I’m sure it went well. I was able to slide over from the track meet to meet him briefly.

Any wagers on how long it takes for the parents to chew the new guy up and spit him out?

Things are going very well. Coach Jarrett has been meeting with and interviewing prospective assistants. He has been to Waverly several times and will be settling in soon. One particular assistant is going to be a HUGE asset!
He has also been meeting with coaches from all sports which is refreshing.
Spring sports are in full swing with most, if not all the boys playing one of them. Multi Sport athletes are what we want.
Looking forward to open gyms to check them all out.

... I WANT Coach Jarrett to have a good run in Waverly , getting off on the right foot with players & parents is important ... sounds like he doing it right ... it will be interesting to see who makes-up his coaching staff ...
