With Ashland coming off of a great 70-64 victory over County rival Boyd County Last night... I think the winning momentum keeps Ashland going...
Prediction
Ashland 60
Ironton 52
Good Luck Tomcats!

I don't think they are talking about Basketball, It goes back to Football if I'm correct. It's an inside thing...

We discussed this going out the door. The general feeling was that we have to let Ashland win everyonce in a while or they won't play us anymore
I'm pretty excited about Ironton BB team this year. Mark Carter sure has improved and has been playing awesome. Lewis, Webb and White are really doing a great job as the big mean on Ironton's team.
Saw Matt Thomas and got to talk to him at Applebee's after the game. Ask him about his finger. He said it was just a dislocation. He seems like an awfully nice kid

Tigers let this one slip away unfortunately, but that will happen with young teams. There was a lot to be excited about on the court, however, and I think this team will bloom by season's end. They will take some lumps early with the schedule they have, but Lafon is playing 9-10 guys, and they all can contibute to a successful season if they work hard to improve. Seems to be an unselfish bunch.
