SE District Tournament Challenge

Post by Ironman92 »

We'll keep it fairly simple and I'll tally the points after the sectionals, district semis and district finals and so on.

1 point for sectional qtr and semi final rounds
2 points for sectinal final correct picks
3 points for district semi
5 points for district final
5 points for correctly picking the win or loss by every SE district team in the regionals

Tie Breaker......The closest final margin in any game for Chillicothe in the sectionals or districts.

Just curious, who do you see Burg losing to in the regional semis? I have looked at the brackets and I just don't that tough of competition coming into Athens this year for the regionals.

BURGBACKER you are insane you will be lucky to get to Regionals.Madison Plains,Card Lincoln, and Bishop Ready all would have a solid chance of beating Burg in regionals.Burg still has to beat Huntington. Also the Final 4 team is coming out New Philly.Garaway,St C,Tusky Valley,Martins Ferry or Fort Frye.

First off, it's Burg_Grad_77, not BURGBACKER. Two completely different posters. Also, I am not insane and don't appreciate the insinuation. From reading your posts in the last couple of days I have a feeling your days are numbered on here because of your ridiculous post, so your opinion doesn't mean squat to me anyway.

Second, I believe the Burg can beat Huntington because of the very tough, lock down defense that the Pirates play. As for the competition coming out of New Phill, I don't see anybody that stands out anymore than the Burg.

Will just have to let the players on the court decide whether or not the Burg makes it back to the Regionals.

Should be a great tourney once again.

I believe it is getting close to basketball-thirty time.

heaven forbid for someone to actually think Wheelersburg might lose in the tournament...

Not everyone has jumped on the Pirate Train here.

They are the two-time defending regional champs and until someone knocks them off, it is theirs to lose.

Do we in Pirate land think the Burg can win the regional again, sure we do. What other attitude should you have other then thinking that you are going to win every game you play? If the players don't have that mentality also, then it usually means a quick exit in the tourney.

You have your opionon, which I respect and I have mine and that is all it is, an opinion.

Don't get all jacked up just because someone made a comment in response to another comment. Last time I checked, this was America and we were allowed to comment on just about anything.
