Fort wins opener 68-64 over Linsly in OT.

Linsly made a 3 at the buzzer to get it to Overtime.

I saw Monroe knocked off Magnolia. They're 2-1 with a competitive loss to Bellaire. Fort beat Linsly, Shenandoah is 3-0 with wins over Rosecrans, Shadyside and Barnesville. Caldwell is 2-0 beating Newcomerstown and Belpre. League is off to a good start. Anyone know what the reasoning behind Frontier not opening until December 15th would be?

I heard River moved back their opening games because of football. They usually lead off with frontier so their opener would've been cancelled.

Also, we need to be clear that basketball is unfortunately weak in the area at this point in time... Lost a lot of quality in past two years.. Frontier, MC, Bridgeport, Magnolia are struggling. If it wasn't for teams that had one quality player (Hendershot (Shadyside), Barnesville (Powell)), it would be a lot of rough teams. Out of area games will really prove how good PVC teams and surrounding schools are this year.
