Swingle would be my pick. But plenty of others out there that would deserve it too

can't argue against that. If I were building a high school team and it was a draft Swingle would go 1:1. Maughmer was my homer pick lol.Vito Corleone wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2018 10:18 am Swingle would be my pick. But plenty of others out there that would deserve it too

Re: SE Ohio Player of the Year Candidates
I understand that the kid was blessed with some great size. But the kid can play and he is going to Duquesne. I think he will have some great success in that league too. Are there any others going D1 that I am missing? I know the Swackhammer kid is going to Flagler. Somehwere in Florida, idk. Maughmer going to Cedarville. Perdue...no idea. Anyone know who is looking at him?CavalierAlum05 wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2018 3:08 pmcan't argue against that. If I were building a high school team and it was a draft Swingle would go 1:1. I've heard people say "Well if Swingle wasn't 7' he wouldn't be as dominant" Maybe? Idk. But he is very skilled. Great feet. Moves really well for his size. Great finisher. He is the most college ready high schooler in our area in my opinion and this is just from the eye test from what I've seen.
Yes. A high school draft, he's my #1 for sure lol. That conference would have one heck of an all star team this year. Some really good players in that area this year. Good to see!

Ive seen Swingle play several times over the last 4 years. His skills have improved, as has his confidence in his skills. He has been hurt a bit by having young guards. I would’ve liked to see him in a Dayton Flyers uniform the next 4 years.

Myers being a Jr might go against him a bit.pfloyd wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2018 9:22 pm... I've narrowed down my group to 3 finalists for SE District POY :Hoopie74 wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2018 8:54 pm Maybe this is a better time to bring this topic back up. This is the time to see your star shine.

Hard to make that argument. Piketon might not have won a single game with Perdue this year.Vito Corleone wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2018 5:06 pmTake Swingle off of PV, how many games they win this year?mikepike wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2018 4:10 pm Ive seen Swingle play several times over the last 4 years. Ehh I disagree. Surely they would have won at least one game

7 foot 6-9 it really makes no difference, seeing him com e to Pittsburgh to play for the Dukes....priceless
Re: SE Ohio Player of the Year Candidates
Have watched just about everybody in southern Ohio this year except for Myers from Logan. Have seen Swingle, Swachammer, Perdue, Maughmer, Yates, Holden, Woodside Arey, Darby, Carroll, all the kids from fairland. I will take the McLaughlin kid (spelling) from Lynchburg Clay.

Yeah Swingle is the best since he’s a real college recruit. I just never see him play since I’m in Athens
Re: SE Ohio Player of the Year Candidates
For the D4 Southeastern district player of the year I think Tanner Arey of Peebles : 497 regular season points,22.6 ppg,133 rebounds,67 assists,37 steals,13 blocks,50.2% fg,82.3 % ft,47.9% 3pt. ,Per cincinnati prep.com.While leading his team to a SHAC league title and #2 seed in D4 sectional at Northwest high school. Good luck Tanner Arey on the tournament trail.
