REGIONAL FINAL: Waverly vs Heath
Re: REGIONAL FINAL: Waverly vs Heath
Kelley and Morrison had roles this game and Stulley really did his thing to go with Futhey and Trey doing their thing.

Re: REGIONAL FINAL: Waverly vs Heath
Just wondering what is Waverly’s ceiling. They Have had 2 off shooting nights in a row(big credit to defense). But even with the length of athleticism of Heath they are leaving a lot of points out there. I’m extremely proud and optimistic with the wins seeing them pull through even while struggling against a very good Heath team. This is why you schedule the tough Out of Conference games against teams that will challenge you differently.
Hudson Kelley really stepped up tonight(quietly) and Penn was solid too. Key baskets and rebounds IMO.

From SOSA:
Waverly advances to a Division II state semifinal at 8:30 p.m., Friday at the University of Dayton Arena. Its opponent will be Gilmour Academy, who defeated St. Mary’s Memorial to advance.

Gilmour is a private school in Gates Mill near Cleveland. The Lancers are 22-5 and defeated St. Mary's 62-35. I know nothing of Gilmour but it looks like they played a big school schedule.
The states two top ranked teams in D2, Akron SVSM and Kettering Alter make up the other semi-final. Stranger things have happened.

Also, Congrats to smurray. I doubt very much that there is a better or more loyal person than what you are when it comes to supporting Waverly High School, regardless the sport.

Felt like I typed this post because this exactly how I feel. Again our shooting was not good at all and somehow someway we found a way to win. A lot of the guys stepped up and Kelly was huge getting his baskets when he did it was an excellent job by everyone not getting rattled by shots going in and keeping composure
A Kicker of various balls. Trust The Process
