Good hard working team but Burg, Waverly and the Jackson County all stars will all be tough.

i agree falconflyer...Burg and Minford should be a good matchup this season. Burg has a very different team than last year losing Miller, Cowgill, and Salyers. Jenkins and Spradlin will be their main two guys on the court this year. I would like to see Minford win this bout between the rivals.

I think Coach Copley and Co. will do just fine this year. Coach Copley is a very good coach and has some talent to work with. However, the Jackson County all stars will be tough! LOL

How many boys are returning from last years team? Those kids could run and jump very well.

Does anyone have a roster for Minford? I believe Minford plays Portsmouth first game of the season. Should be a good matchup.

Would like to see more of the baseball players concentrate on just baseball this winter. Personally, this is the worst time of the year for me...is it Spring yet?

Shaz isn't playing this year. Minford just scrimmaged Vinton County tonight and IMO they did pretty good. They played good defense that helped them out alot. Their offense did alright but needs to step it up to begin the season. Overall good job and VC is a DII school and #1 in their division. They played 4 quarters which Minford was up all game but VC managed to get back and the score ended up being 53-49...I give credit to the Falcons.

i was at the game..they lost 71-61..i thought their defense did pretty good but they were 10-24 from the foul line and i think 24-48 from the field. They play Portsmouth tuesday then burg friday. They will need to step it up and work for both these games.
