Great game last night. In the end it came down to which team could hit the freebies. VC did and will move on FU did not and will be getting ready for baseball. I was very impressed with the big man for FU his offensive rebounding single handedly kept them in the game. And only a soph.....WOW!! I fully expect to these two teams back in Athens next year, Both are young and talented.

JG 82-43 final. Actually a little surprised it was that close.

Wellston would've beat that team JG played by 20

That's the thing with JG, they destroyed teams all the way til the Regionals and then were unable to massively press the better teams. I think they are better this year, so it's going to be a big challenge for the Vikings, but with their guard play, I could see them making it a game and possibly pulling the upset.

Even lbj's ASVSM teams didn't blow everyone out... JG probably won't blow everyone out, but they also played in some close games vs really good teams too. They're tested. I could see desales with all their size, giving JG some trouble. VC isn't though.

VC's biggest advantage is that they have played 2 games in the Convo. It is a difficult place to play if your not used to the court. Hopefully they can jump out to an early lead and have JG playing from behind which I'm sure they are not used to.

I do think playing at the Convo is an advantage. But only so much and for so long. Plus JG, while known for their 3 point shooting, can drive the ball as good as anyone.

don't think it'll let me..

I may have graduated from FU, BUT I grew up eating and sleeping MVL (new lex district), so if my falcons aren't in it, ill root for the MVL(well maybe not sheridan)

That's obvious! Since we beat your falcons, muskie01 is what I will address you as! Might as well root against the team who sent you home to enjoy your off season. Good luck Thursday with your new team! Muskie01

Well I live in California so I wasn't there to see it last week and won't be there to see it this week. Also, you should go back and look. Fu would be even more of an underdog in this match up because they don't handle ball pressure very well. So I'm not at all being anti-VC here. JG is just that good. But you can call me muskie01, if you want.
