Wellston-Vinton County. Nuff said! I also think the Alexander-Athens series will heat up in the future.

Nelsonville-York vs. Athens was always a big non-league rivalry and it will only intensify as a league game now. In most years, NY vs. Athens played two games home and home as if it were a league game.

Athens vs Alex will be a good natural rival...VC vs Wellston is natural rival but Wellston has not been competitve lately so it's not as intense as it can be...Right now everyone wants some revenge on the Vikings but they are going to have to earn it.

Belpre-Nelsonville has heated up over the past few years...From the fight that broke out last year at VC between some coaches and parents, to the Belpre "6th Man" chanting roid rage to Jay Edwards 2 years ago. It has really heated up in football also. And also, i dont know about you folks in McArthur, but us here in Belpre, dont take too fond of VC, and they have had soem really competitive basketball games in the past. The Eagles tried to black out the Vikings two years ago and last year and the vikings came right back with the White-out.

Eastern vs. Southern

It's hard to dispute that. Even the years Eastern made it to the Regionals and Final 4 Southern played tough. Its like Michigan vs OSU, always going to be a close game. And not to mention the Coach Caldwell factor! Wow, been to some great games with these two teams.

I remember one year Eastern went to Southern, it was Coach Caldwells birthday and Eastern was heavily favored. Souther pulled the upset and let coach Caldwell have it. Chanting at him saying obscene things. The kids even chased Easterns bus out the parking lot yelling and saying stuff about his birthday beating. No Lie!

This is not TVC but the Waterford Fort Fry may be the biggest in southeastern ohio.

The Belpre-Warren rivalry is also a big rivalry in every sport, mainly basketball and football. But back to TVC, i think pretty much every game in the TVC is a rivalry because no 2 schools like each other, its a battle no matter who you play.

Waterford and Fort Frye is not in the TVC but is always a great game to come and watch. Both school hate each other and there has been times in the past when Waterford may have 25 or 30 kids in their student section, but when the FF game rolls around there could be 100+. In the Hocking the Waterford vs. Eastern game has heated up as of late. The Waterford vs. Fed Hock game is always fun. Normally the Fed Hock vs. Eastern game is fun as well. But the big rivalry game in the Hocking has to be Eastern vs. Southern. Waterford plays Belpre twice next year so that will be a fun game.

Cunningham will go for 30+ both games against belpre, but so will tate against waterford.
