14th St Comm Center Adult Fall Basketball League

The 14th Street Community Center will be hosting a 2008 Fall Basketball League. Registration will begin 10/01/08, with a deadline of 10/14/08. Adult league, ages 18 and up, registration only $100 per team with a minimum of 7 players per team. League will consist of eight teams only; first come, first serve basis will be observed. Great to see the 14th St. Community Center open. I saw the court in its beginning stages......it looked very nice. Very glad to see Marcus Bendolph involved in this.....I know him well and he is a very fine man.......a perfect fit as league coordinator.

Thursday is the last day for registration, should be a wonderful league, and highly competitive. Some names who have already registered with commited teams. Dave Barnes, Ray Robinson, Justin Horne,Gerald Froe, Osh Green,R.K.Thurman and Chris White, just to name a few.Games start sunday evening at 7pm.
