Belpre has a very important TVC Ohio game Friday night with Athens before the trip to Stewart. I know Fed has some long ball shooters but Belpre's size will prove to be to much. Smothering "D" from the guards, controlling the boards from the BIGS and Tate and Sims scoring their averages should make it an exciting game. Belpre first MUST take care of the Bulldogs and then worry about the Lancers.

It sure will be fun to see these two groups of seniors go at it again. A very good rivalry when they were playing in the area youth tournaments as kids. The kids from Belpre have a lot of respect for the Lancers. Sims and Leasure are probably glad Iris Butcher isn't playing.

Yes I seen some of these games, it was always a close one.
I think some of these boys played some AAU ball togeather.
I know most of them were freinds back then.

Both teams coming off tough losses last night,but I look for the Eagles to rebound and put together a whole game like they played in the 1st half against Athens. Belpre's pressure defense,quickness and speed will prove to much for the Lancers.Look for a close game with the Eagles coming out on top by about 6-8 points. GO EAGLES!!!

Iris did play for this group when they were little. If I remember she carried them most of the time. The Sims kid is really smooth.

What's Belpres record so far this season?

Some posters on here, a few weeks back, comparing them to the teams that made the run to the state tourney some years back.

I assume they were too young to remember how good those teams really were...

Heard that Tommie G. had a career night last night. Not sure how many points he scored, but I heard it was a bunch! Congrats to the Lancers on this big win last night.

Torrence (Tommy G) had a great game, I think he had 25 pts 5 reb 4 asst
last two games he has step it up for the lancers. He was clutch when it counted.
Thompson I think 23 points 9 reb 8 asst.
Rex also 11 pts 7 reb played a great game
Clark I think 9 pts and just get down "D" as always
McCune play big in the paint. Dont know Pts or Reb

The Belpre boys are really good lots of talent.
Held Tate scoreless in the first half, I think he ended up with 21pts He is smooth
Sims big inside. Waldker played great D on Thompson, I could go on. They are just a nice team. Good lock to Belpre, it was fun to watch these boys play again.
