Rough way to get a win. I know that when I was in high school, Zane Trace picked up a win in baseball by forfeit that resulted in a undefeated league championship season. The morale around the program was not that of an undefeated team because they did not win that game when it was played on the field.

Do the Oaks play this Saturday? If not, I wonder why they can't make up the Waverly game this Saturday? Waverly travels to South Webster and Oak Hill travels to Valley on Friday. Would make for a great weekend of basketball.

Oak Hill vs. Waverly has already been rescheduled for the following Saturday.
IMO it works out better for two reasons:
1) It looks like both schools will need this Saturday to make up for today's cancellation.
2) Both teams would finish the regular season with great competition. It would get them ready for the tournament.

Geez jughead, that was a long time ago.
ZT still won the league by three games that year without the forfeit.

This makes very little difference in anything except the record of the Oaks.
They would probably be the #1 seed anyway. Right?

Which gives an idea of how strong the Jackson sectional is. If the SE D3 were seeded as one whole Oak Hill, Peebles and Ironton would be vying for the #1 seed....but one won't even be a #1 in the sectional
