River Valley @ Chesapeake

Post by HoopsHotHead »

Should be a good test for the upstart Raiders.......an the road vs. a traditionally good program........don't know much about the peake, but they always have some players and a good following........

Good luck to Coach Peck and the Raiders staff and players......and good luck to Jr. tonight as the lil Raiders go for win two....

Effort and Attitude = Things that can be controlled........give %100 and stay POSITIVE!!!

Any Peake fans on this board anymore......what is your team looking like this year?.....lots of return starters from last year?......young......old.....?......does Ryan Davis coach there?........Hope the Raiders bring their "A" game tonight.....

Good luck to both teams!!.....but mostly RV!!!

Good luck to Coach Peck and The Raiders tonight!

I'll be rooting for them in 21 regular season games this year :)

Panthers return 3 starters (one Senior, and two Juniors). The Peake has decent size up front (6'8" and 6'6"), and reliable, quick guards in the back court. It should be a pretty balanced team this year, but I'm not sure what to expect since tonight will be the first game for the Peake this season.

Rest assured, as always with a Coach Davis team, expect a tough, well conditioned, physical team to be wearing the Purple.

That's what I was afraid of......typical Peake.....they always have a good team.....6'8" & 6'6"....that might be a problem for the Raiders......we are guard heavy and deep......so RV will need to speed the game up and try to create offense with defense....but Coach Davis is no slouch and will have his team ready......looking forward to the trip to Chesapeake......might have to play zone and see if the Panthers can shoot.......good luck to both teams.....and good luck to South Gallia as well.....hope all is well Mr. Peifer.......tell Brady we are wishing the best for him this year.....well....in all but one game.....

This game included 60 fouls and 80 FT's........evenly called TIGHT game.....officials had nothing to do with the beating the Panthers put on RV..........no excuses.......better team won.......RV will have to make the most of every practice in order to have any chance at a TVC titile.........

Good Luck to the Players and coaches moving forward........jv also got beat....35-9 at the half.....won the last two quarters and the final was 56-40.......Jr. played well.....mins declined....but no turns..4asts...4 rebs....4points...and 0-4 from FT.....steal and block.......very proud of his and his teammates second half effort......

THE Point is....go back to work and dont look back
