They did get the tallest player in the league at 6'7/6'8"ish junior but he will sit the first 11 games. Rebels should have a good year this year and hopefully pickup where they left off after losing in the district final game to Peebles.

Rebels beat green last night 51-39 at SG. 1-0 on season with next game at home against belpre Tuesday

Good start for The Rebels although they will need to improve their free throw shooting and make those easy layups against better teams. Definitely a good start for Coach Howell and the boys!

I am going to remain cautious. Football started out 2-0 and then fizzled and SG finished 5-5. That team was brought down by in fighting and not keeping the egos in check. I pray the same thing doesn't happen with basketball. Talent is not in question. Attitude is the X factor with this group. They are good kids that have trouble keeping the emotions in check. If they can somehow keep the emotions in check and remain a team this could be a really good year! I hope it turns out that way. Go Rebels!
