BACF OH vs. WV Boys Basketball Rosters

The 16th Annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis Basketball Classic will take place on Friday, April 7, at Parkersburg South’s Rod Oldham Athletic Center. The OH vs. WV Girls All-Star game will start at 5:30PM and the boys game follows at 7:30PM.

The Ohio Boys team, coached by Meadowbrooke’s Lou Tolzda, is led by Division IV 1st Team All-Stater Jordan Welch, who led the Waterford Wildcats into the Regional Semi-Final this past season. The 6’-3” guard was the District 13 and TVC Player of the Year after averaging 14.3 ppg, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and shooting 84% from the free-throw line.

Other members of the Ohio Boys team include: Konnor Roberts (Meadowbrooke, G, 5’-11”); Tylar Blevins (Racine Southern, G, 6’-0”); Trey Duffy (Monroe Central, G, 5’-9”); Griffin Lutz (Athens, PG, 6’-0”); Zach Deskins (Marietta, G, 6’-0”); Derick Jones (Vinton County, G, 6’-0”); Justin Cork (Meadowbrooke, F, 6’-3”); Landon Martin (Frontier, F, 6’-3”); Logan Wolverton (Meadowbrooke, PG, 5’-7”); Alex Masinelli (Cambridge, G, 6’-0”); Deijon Bedgood (Belpre, F, 6’-0”); Chase Weihl (Warren Local, PF, 6’-7”); Kyler Dennis (Warren Local, PG, 5’-11”); Aron Davis (Nelsonville-York, F, 6’-1”); Justin Anderson (Fort Frye, G, 6’-3”).

The West Virginia Boys team, coached by Mark Barnhart, will be led by a Class AAA 1st Team All-State selection – Jamison Hunt. Hunt was Mr. Everything this year for Kevin Harris’ Ripley Vikings. He finished with 23.3 ppg scoring average, 7.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals. He totaled 1,426 points in his career as a Viking.

Other members of the WV Boys team include: Hayden Hizer (Paden City, PG, 5’-8”); Kam White (Parkersburg, G, 6’-4”); Tyler Williamson (Magnolia, G, 5’-11”); AJ Collins (Parkersburg Catholic, PG, 5’-7”); Zack Yanero (Calhoun County, F, 6’-5”); Riley Heatherington (Ravenswood, F, 6’-7”); Will Billeter (St. Marys, F, 6’-3”); Sam Kincaid (St. Marys, G, 5’-10”); DJ Spencer (Wood County Christian, G, 6’-2”); Karson Snyder (Parkersburg, G, 6’-1”); Chris Riggs (St. Marys, F, 6’-0”); Isaac Brown (Williamstown, G, 6’-2”); Hunter Riffle (Doddridge County, PG, 6’-0”); Drew Adams (Wirt County, 6'-3", F).

Meadowbrook does NOT end in an "e".

Some very good talent in the game. As for Ohio, we will have one practice the night before the contest, so the game will, in reality, be a glorified pick-up game. But it will be entertaining. And, certainly, it is for a good cause. Looking forward to it.
