Unknown: 1

Notes:
Only 9 winners were under 6-0 tall, the first being Randy Peoples of Wellston in 1975.

The shortest winner was Bill Armstrong of Gallipolis in 1980, standing just 5-8.

Gary Harrison of Gallipolis (5-11) and Anthony Hitchens of Chillicothe (5-9) are the only two-time winners of those under 6-0. Harrison pulled the trick in 1986-87 and Hitchens in 2007-08.

Harold Howe (1968) and Brad Howe (1996), both of Jackson, are the only father-son duo. Brad sister Beth (1998, 2000) won the award twice on the girls side.

Scott Fitzgerald and Keith Myers are the only individuals to win both Player of the Year (POY) and Coach of the Year (COY). Fitzgerald was player of the year at Athens HS in 1964 and COY at Logan HS in 1978. Myers was POY in 1986 and COY in 2009, both at Logan HS.

All League..Charlie Kitchen from Ironton in the 68-69 season was the first sophomore to make 1ST Team all SEOAL. He also led the league in rebounding that year

C-D was upset by Crooksville early in the district tournament.

Crooksville was only 11-10 overall entering the game.
