*** TRUTH BOMB INCOMING ***

Coach Fitch has already improved this team drastically during the first half of the season. Fully expecting them to knock for New Boston when they come to Western.

.... and that’s the TRUTH!
Tigers 64
Indians 58
Score shows a good game.Congrats both teams.

When does Eastern and New Boston play again? That will determine the SOC title and I'd like watch that game! Lets be honest none of the other 6 teams are going to beat New Boston or Eastern. Can New Boston split the title, that's the question?!?

Acm western is now 4-3 in the soc1.

I didn’t get to watch western and new Boston but was told western had several shots to tie in the closing seconds . So yes I Think it is possible for new Boston and eastern to lose . However , they are the favorites verse the other 6 teams .
I agree jeepnatiom I may have to catch the new Boston and eastern game also

The SOC I has been surprisingly stronger than what people anticipated. Eastern is no surprise, and I think any of the other teams could beat each other on any given night. There has been some really tight games thus far.

Around halfway point for all teams in league play, who is your POY to this point? My pick is..
Michael Miller-Eastern,the 6"6 Junior has led his Eagles to an impressive 10-3 record overall and are undefeated in league play. Kimbler from Green would be my runner-up right now.Green has the talent to upset Eastern or NB if they play well.
New Boston has had a great year so far led by Conley,Sexton and company.
,NB sits at 7-1 in Soc play and only league loss was a hard fought 5pt loss to Eastern, they are only team I see challenging the Eagles for the Soc crown, should be great atmosphere when NB visits the Nest Feb.9.Cox has done a great job with the Tigers to this point and would be my front runner for COY with Barrick right there as well.
Also PJ Fitch has done a nice job with Western after everything they lost to transfer and graduation,he has them competing every night and has the Indians with an above
.500 record which alot of people didn't expect.Humphrey has been impressive for Western.
Clay and ND are both young but both have improved since game 1.Clay got nice win over East last week and hung with Eastern for 3quarters.. East and SV both have capability of winning games, Eastern beat SV by 40 early in year, but SV played them tough 2nd time around 48-58. East has Biggest homecourt advantage in Soc imo and will win some games down the stretch.

The New Boston Glenwood boys team does not have a Buckley, I think you meant Conley. Mariah Buckley leads the girls team.

In my opinion, Evan Leist has to b in the discussion for player of the year, I agree that Michael Miller is deserving of the award too, to me it’s between those two ,Miller and Leist!!!

I cant see anyone else topping Miller. Assuming Eastern wins the League.
The kid is an all around great player.

Its pretty simple eastern can win some without Miller they wouldn't win without Leist

I disagree with that statement. Miller changes the game on both ends. Every opposing player is wary of attacking the rim do to his presence in the paint. He dominates the bords and scores the ball. Least is a good Point guard not saying he isn’t he gets them into their sets and pressures the other teams point. But know coach is going to spend hours game planning how to stop him. Coaches have to game plan on keeping the ball from Miller and focus on trying to keep him off the boards and run offensive sets to try to draw him out of the paint. Least is a super kid and a excellent player that does effect the game. But Miller is the guy teams game plan for.
