Fed has a new coach!

Congratulations to Coach Dunigan ! Kevin Dunigan - former LHS freshman coach and member of the Logan coaching staff under Head Coach John Helber will get his first head coaching position at Federal Hocking for the 2017-18 school year ... lots of work needed to be done with the Lancer program - here's to Coach Dunigan getting the opportunity to make his mark in the TVC ...

I think he means young as in coaching experience.

Thanks 2009, He seems like a younger coach to me . My choice of words were to just encourage . I know he has some experience . Wish him luck .

I've called Kevin "partner" on WLGN radio and on broadcasts on LoganFootball.com. His passion and love of high schools sports can't be questioned.

Can't wait to see him be successful as a Lancer.

Can Dunagain turn it around or will he, much like his name, be one and done again? I know cousin Luke is great at judging talent in players and coaches, and he thinks this is a good hire but the guy has no experience. I cautioned Luke on this one, but he was hell bent on the guy. Maybe he had too many Monster drinks the day he interviewed him? Or, maybe he wants the basketball team to go winless so as to not out do the football team? Only time will tell.

Give him a chance. Coach Dunigan is a great guy. He is very passionate about the sport and he knows his round ball well. He is lean on coaching experience but he does have some coaching experience and he's been a bball ref in the area for sometime now. He has ref'ed many of the teams Fed Hock faces every year. That could and should give him somewhat of an advantage with some of the coaches and players in the area, in that he will know the tendencies some coaches and players will have is certain situations. The biggest thing is going to be getting the players and fans to buy into it as it is when ever a new HC takes over in any sport.
