Re: DII - Logan sectional
Athens plays at Marietta Tuesday.
Athens plays at Logan Elm Jan. 13th
* Athens is playing Morgan on Jan 16th ... not sure why the Bulldogs are not playing New Lex instead of Morgan. We had been playing the Panthers for quite some time. But not this year.
Marietta is an important game (and I'm not sure they will have Maxfield). Logan Elm is an important game. Must wins. And maybe a split with Vinton County can get Athens out of the 8 vs 9 scenario and a date with Fairfield Union.

Athens will for sure be above Circleville and Westfall, just gotta jump one more team. That may be Marietta or New Lexington or both. Or even LE. I'd be shocked if Athens is in a playin game.

Maxfield should be here still for Marietta. Nelsonville and Jackson I'm doubting.93Bulldog wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 9:14 pm Athens plays at Marietta Tuesday.

Sheridan is pretty good from what I here, bit I don't hear much about them. Anyone have any info?
Re: DII - Logan sectional
Sheridan just lost to a so so Philo team in OT Friday night I believe it was ...

Re: DII - Logan sectional
Their scores are very unimpressive so far, but, they are usually huge and always play a monster schedule, so they'll be a tough out. They host John Glenn on Saturday.
Re: DII - Logan sectional
I definitely wouldn't call their schedule a monster lol.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 10:47 pm Their scores are very unimpressive so far, but, they are usually huge and always play a monster schedule, so they'll be a tough out. They host John Glenn on Saturday.

Re: DII - Logan sectional
Oh my bad! I forgot that playing schools like John Glenn, Maysville, Tri-Valley, and Fairfield Union should qualify as a weak schedule. I won't make that mistake again, I'm sorry.
Re: DII - Logan sectional
Not trying to be mean but Mayesville is 3-1 with 2 wins over D3 and 1 win over D4, only D2 game is a loss and Tri Valley is a 1-3 I believe.. John Glenn is a pretty solid team.danicalifornia wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 8:24 am Oh my bad! Monster may have been an overstatement, and since I'm clearly an idiot, I'll be done here.Bud07 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 8:47 amNot trying to be mean but Mayesville is 3-1 with 2 wins over D3 and 1 win over D4, only D2 game is a loss and Tri Valley is a 1-3 I believe.. That is 2 years in a row they lose to Marietta. I dont see a 6 seed for Athens, probably play in game
Re: DII - Logan sectional
Athens will have to scramble to get into the 7 seed and not the 8. I'm sure they'll want to avoid Fairfield Union and their bully posters for as long as they can.

I'm no bully, I'm a Browns fan too, so I'm about as pessimistic as they come!

Déjà Vu
Athens over Sheridan again
Vinton County will probably end up the 6th seed and roll Warren by 10. Speakman goes for 40
