PFloyd caught the end of that game on his way back from Logan at Unioto. He has a little Rundown on what he saw on the Logan at Unioto thread.

Your thread about the Gallia and Athens game is Locked. Not that it matters but the Final was 55-32.

Vinton County jumped out early, I think having a 12-0 start. Then BC hit back-to-back 3's. They made a run late in the period to cut it to a two point Viking lead. However, in the second quarter is where we lost. BC hit four more 3's and outscored the Vikings 22-6 in the period. Have to give BC credit, they had a sound game plan and executed. Down 14 at half the Vikings battled back, winning the third quarter. At a couple of times in the fourth, the Vikings had it cut to five, but a couple of bad calls and turnovers, we could never get over the five point margin. In the end it was an 11 point loss. 62-51.

The thing I was most disappointed by was despite BC size, they were physical and we didn't handle it well or respond. BC grabbed, held, bumped, and play up in us and we allowed it. However, we get through these nagging injuries and learn to play what some is calling "...a new style..." we will be just fine. Too many athletes and too much talent to throw in the towel on the season.
