When was the last time that happened? I know they had a really good team with Cox and Bennington in 2006, but I'm not sure that they won the league then, just reached the Convo.
The last time West Union won the SHAC league title was 1989. They went undefeated in the league that season.
Was that the team Blain Roush played on.

Fayetteville and Ripley did NOT play last night. Their girls teams both did though. WU has clinched at least a share of the conference championship but Ripley can still tie them if Ripley wins out vs Fairfield and Peebles. WU only has one conference game left vs Lynchburg.

Ok, the radio C-103 gave the score. Assumed it was Boys score. Wondered why it wasn't scheduled.

Fayetteville has some trees. You need pads and a helmet there .Anything is possible and it was played at Fayetteville.
Not sure what's going on in Ripley right now. Started the season off as one of if not the best team in league. Have had several surprising losses in the past few weeks.
Its a shame. The Coach does a great job in my opinion. Maybe an injury or something.
I agree that Coach Woodward is doing a good job. My guess is he'll be at Ripley for a long time

Finals tonight
Eastern 66-42 Whiteoak
Ripley 71-66 Fairfield
Lynchburg Clay 71-36 Fayetteville
These results tonight set up an interesting show down next Friday. Ripley must win @ Peebles and Lynchburg Clay needs to beat WU to force a tie for first place between Ripley and WU. WU wins outright if Ripley loses or WU beats LC @ LC

That's what it's all about in a league. Coming down to the last game. That's what I love about the SHAC.everyone plays everyone.

They are D3...Tony Berlin whose son played on those really good Wilmington teams back in the 2009-11 time period is the coach. They have a kid on the team who has scored well over 1,000 points and they press and play physical. Good win for Whiteoak heading into the tourney.

SHAC did pretty good tonight. Peebles played well. Ten players scored. Fayetteville played 6'6",6'5",6'3",6',5'10, starting five with two 6'4" subs. Peebles took care of business. Arey 19 points 10 assists,Robinson with 14 points, Browning with 11 points and a ton of assists, Hawes with 16 rebounds 7 others with 2-7 points. Arey played maybe 1 minutes in fourth Quarter.

Games tonight:
West Union @ Lynchburg-Clay

If WU loses and Ripley wins tonight there will be a tie for first place in the big school conference.

[/Not sure that finals here we're updated yet. 32west has kept this current all year. First post of this topic has the records . I think everyone has completed all 22 games.
