This one will be a dandy ! based on the teams I've seen in their opening games thus far I would put Logan as THE top team I have had a chance to see - at least playing wise out of the gate - all of the roles have already defined for this Logan group PG through the big man in the middle... the Purple & White might be one of the teams with the least injuries to key players too ... I am interested in seeing how Logan is able to play vs "size" in the paint - VC has that in Hammon, Damron & Griffith ... the Chiefs have 6-7 Caiden Landis who is and plays much stronger than last year ... the Bell boys are not tall both right around 6-0 in stature but play a physical brand of ball while crashing the boards ... Bo Myers is 6-5 or so but I would not label him as physical ... this one might come down to how the refs call the game - VC has the longer bench ... Logan struggles with size off the bench that has any varsity experience ... this is why we play the game ! tip it off and see what happens ON THE FLOOR ! ... the crowd will be huge imo , might want to get there BEFORE the freshmen tipoff or you might NOT get a seat ...

... on a side note - Nevan Yates I believe will still be sidelined for VC, Naylan Yates (my pic for POY in the SE District) continues to nurse the ankle injury from the foundation game vs Unioto - VC plays Friday night in a league matchup vs Nelsonville York at NY , we will have to see how much Naylan's ankle handles THAT more important league match game - back to back games on a bad ankle? my guess is that he may be used sparingly Saturday night in the non-league game with Logan ... he is such a competitor Coach Combs & his staff may have a hard time keeping him out of the lineup - tough kid ... looking forward to seeing our friends in McArthur Saturday night !

... Best of luck to both TEAMS this week and for the game Saturday night !

Both teams I feel greatly recruit as each team has the best high school players in their counties. Rare in Ohio to have 10 best basketball players in your county on same team. Smells fishy to me.

When was the last time someone went into McArthur and won by a lot? (this isn’t a homer reference either)

Logan very good and VC isn’t at full health. I bet they battle on their home court ....seems like a thing a Combs team might do.

Should be a great game, Chiefs look very good in their first game of the season. I know VC is a little banged up, but fully expect them to battle hard, especially on their home court.

Logan by 10+

Probably will be closer later in the season once the Vikings are at full strength.

Games at VC don't see it being a 10+ game either way

Vc plays an OT game tonight and had to play catch up the entire night. See what they have left tomorrow. Though all of this means little, since VC is playing shorthanded

Speakman goes for a little over 40 points tonight. Man-that kid will be sore tomorrow. Will he have the gas to keep up with Bo Myers and Company??

Speakman was THE MAN against NY. He was basically unstoppable.
He had a night. Logan better pack a lunch to stop him.
