I imagine Landon Carroll and Nolan Carroll are nearing in a 1,000. Guessing Logan Swackhammer is close as well.

Following Dec-12 vs Ironton
  • Thomas (Fairland) 102pts to 1000
    Van Horn (Fairland) 170pts to 1000; 27reb to 500
    Howell (Fairland) 94pts to 1000; 500reb Dec-9
Others?

... THAT's pretty incredible to think that 3 players on the same team will ALL join the 1000 point Club before their careers are over ... great stuff right there I don't care who you are ... Tanner Perdue for Piketon joined the 1000 point club a couple of games ago for the Red Streaks ...

Tanner Arey will soon make it to 1000. We're not allowed to say where he's at because his dad the coach isn't wanting anyone to know. He wants wins and points come secondary in his mind with Tanner. Great young man who has been the distributer, shutdown guard and often injured man in the background to Beau Justice Cam'ron Gordley, Ethan Parrett,Zack Arrasmith and other teammates thru the years. This year it's time for Tanner to be the leader and he is playing well. 28 point nights twice and 21 point performance Tuesday at Leesburg in a fantastic game have started him off this year. Good luck in this Senior year to you Tanner Arey.

Eric McLaughlin from Lynchburg Clay scored his 1000th point last Saturday vs Miami Trace on a half court steal and Slam.

Fairfield Union's Colin Woodside surpassed the 1000 point mark last tear and is closing in on the school record. Also Lucas Thompson is maybe 150 points away and should easily get that this year. Conley (who is a junior) will definitely get it as a senior. That's 3 on the team at the same time, but 3 in the same class is impressive.

How close are Yates (VC), Mccarley (RV), and Mattox (Meigs) to the 1000 point mark?

If anyone were to have a general idea.

Sadly enough Ironman92, I don't believe Oak Hill tracks this or honors the players for those achievements. There aren't many individual accolades distributed at Oak Hill (unless you have over 700 wins).

They have to have an idea. All-District AP each year lists the players ppg. They keep the books. They’ve been starting since they were freshman...they have to be getting fairly close.

Oh I agree they have to be nearing that mark. I would say Mitchell Hale may be close as well. I'm just not sure we will hear anything of it if and when it does happen, which is not fair to the kids. I ageee with the team concept and mentality, but when a kid reaches this mark it should be celebrated by school and fans.

I am sure that when the Oak Hill players get to the 1,000 point mark they will be honored but sometimes the celebration can or will be delayed due to the game being played on the opponents home court. Regardless it is a great honor for the players . Not sure but Darby will also pass 1,000 points in time.

Swackhammer isn't that close right now, but is on pace to get there before the tournament if he keeps his current average up. He's also on pace to break the Unioto Assist record, that one could come sooner.

I believe Darby will towards the end of the year

Nolan has one of the ugliest shots I’ve ever seen.

Congrats to Peebles's Tanner Arey on 31 points tonight against West Union and scoring his 1000th point.
