Any thoughts on this one?

Athens' ability to score in the post could make a big dent in the scoreboard and if they can get Landis in foul trouble, could open things up even bigger. Still, I think Logan gets a fairly easy win to move to 9-0.

I do not see Landis getting in foul trouble . Logan switches so much you never know who is guarding who . Tough "D" and they help out a lot on the Defensive end . Hope foul trouble is not an issue with either team. Athens seems like they are jelling more if what I read is TRUTH and not FICTION.

Landis was in a little foul trouble the first game and sat awhile and it didn't seem to favor Athens. I think one of the Bell boy sat a lot and even Myers was taken out for awhile. When Bell went out this was when Cassidy started hitting threes.

Well Athens lost to a team they should have beat by 40. Doesn’t look good for this game but in Athens logic this will probably be close lol

You never know but this seems like a tall task for Athens. I’ll be impressed if they keep it within 15

With Hines most likely out, a tall order indeed. Logan will have a distinct height avantage.

Hines wanted to come back in the game last night. Idk what was a bigger surprise, Wellston with no trainer or Athens with no doctor in the stands

Wellston did not have trainer or team DR there ? Some teams take their own trainers . Proper evaluation is a must to prevent additional damage . Kudos to Hynes wanting to continue to play but Kudos to the coach for thinking of the welfare of his Center. What if there had been a real serious injury.

Yeah, they said they have no trainer over break. They also had no police. I would think they would have told Athens so Athens would bring their trainer. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen in Wellston

Surely they would have a team Doctor or someone to cover. Dropping Athens a heads up so they could bring their own would have been the thing to do . Schools in my opinion should take their own anyway.

It's not a requirement to have a trainer or doctor according to ohsaa. That's why coaches have to be trained in CPR, first aid, etc ...

So no raider, it's not a lawsuit waiting to happen. Lol

They were probably surprised you guys showed.

Logan should handle business this evening. But that means it will probably be closer than what everyone thinks.

With VC on Tues, I seriously doubt Hines plays tonight. Athens will have to play extremely small unless they bring up Mace from the JV team. If Butcher gets in foul trouble, they may not have a choice. No way Koska can play C.

How was that game at Unioto? Never saw a result. I'm sure Jackson didn't cancel

Lets not forget about Senior Nathan Whitehead. A good player who hustles. I could see him giving Butcher a breather tonight at Center if Hynes doesn't play. Which I doubt he does with VC coming to town on Tuesday.

Indeed. Nathan is good. He deserves a chance?
