Meigs coming off back to back wins and healthy again

NY losing to Eastern, River Valley and a Win over Federal Hocking.

Another Big tvc-ohio matchup.

I think Meigs keeps the streak going!!!

100% absolute must win for Meigs...if not then they aren’t gaining steam and heading right direction

Meigs 65
NY 56

Going to be a ton of speed on that court. I can see this being like a track meet. NY is due for a nice TVC-Ohio win, but Meigs is going in with some great momentum after taking care of Alex in the Alley. I think I give the edge to Meigs at home.

It's all up to NY. One night they play like they need to in order to win ( beat VC / come back from 19 to beat Trimble). Next night they show their lack of experience & loose to a less talented team.
They have the best player & the better athletes but Meigs in the end should win. NY tries to attack the 1-3-1 with just a high post & .......I think Meigs will turn them over & over. Jeckal or Hyde?

I think Mattox will show to be the best player In this contest.

It definitely counts and was a top win for NY but without the two Yates brothers and then some of their recent losses, that win has lost a lot of strength IMO....a nice win as Speakman was on the court but then he scored 42. If NY plays them within 10 the next go around....the win will bolster back up in my mind. I do agree that NY does seem to have two different teams that show up.

Meigs should win this game. They are 15 points better than NY.

NY the only team to beat VC so far and has not won another game in the TVC - Ohio.

Go TVC.

The Buckeyes have to start playing unselfish team ball.
They have got to come together. They play really well at times but then some players start to take shots they shouldn't or pass up open players who could get easy layups and hold onto the ball.
Unforced turnovers, lack of execution.......
Coach Justus is a darn good coach. The kids have to start buying in and they have to start putting the team first.
Win or lose, if the Buckeyes can come out and play together and play for each other then progress has been made.
Right now they play as 5 guys on the court, it's time they come together and play like a team, a family.

The baer kid for meigs will determine which way his team will go. He has been the go to leader as a sophomore. Best all around player on that team. Imo. They have a couple other scorers also. Nice win at the alley.

Looking forward to seeing this team and these players. Sounds like they've improved. Does Bartrum play? Haven't heard much about him.

Orange and Brown......Spot on. Those words hold true any game, any night, any sport!

Bartrum is the PG I believe. Doesn't shoot a ton but distributes the ball well. Plays great defense and can rebound with the best of them for his Size. Nice all around solid player and more importantly a nice young man.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Hornets Fan is related to or close to Baer in someway.

Kid is talented though. But still has room to develop.

Both teams are 1 and 4 against common teams. I think here lately Meigs has some injured players back. Meigs beat Alexander after the injured were back something like a dozen points and Alexander handle NY easily. Just going on that it sounds like a easy win for Meigs. If NY show up with their defense this could be a close game.

He is definitely the best all around player for Meigs.

Yes he is a great all around player, Meigs need all 3 guards to be successful. He is quite and not a huge vocal leader, he will have to step up next year and establish that role with the group of freshmen coming in next year. I know Mattox really likes having Baer on the court.

Also glad they don't try to compete with each other on the court and play as teammates.
