Whiteoak has played 10 games against D3/D2 teams...4-6 in those games but have won 3 of last 4. Fairfield is 5-4 vs D3/D2 teams.

How many non-D4 games have others in this sectional played? I know Coal Grove is loaded with good D3 teams and Fairland twice. Has St Joe played any D3 teams? How about Green? New Boston?

I’m not sure about St Joe. New Boston defeated Western twice and lost to Eastern, Northwest and West.

Green’s Record vs D3 teams might be based on their record vs Western and Eastern.

Thanks

New Boston lost to NW?

I know Western is placed in D3...but are they actually D3? I’ve read a mistake was made on the numbers but never corrected?

Western 113 boys
Coal Grove 115

Coal Grove has 144 girls, Western 81

What am I missing? Why isn’t Western D4 per OHSAA and how can such a small school have such a gap in boys and girls?

1. Coal Grove
2. Peebles
3. New Boston
4. St Joe
5. Green
6. Fairfield
7. Whiteoak
8. Manchester
9. Notre Dame
10. East
11. Clay

Whiteoak could go 3-7. New Boston losing to West and Green hurt their chances at the 2 seed. St Joe really hasn't beat anybody and besides beating St Joer hasn't beat anybody either, but record wise New Boston is the 3 and St. Joe is the 4

I believe the state should investigate this and make it right. Someone didn't know how to do the paperwork. Bet they are kicking themselves about now.

To me it’s pretty clear 1-4

1. Coal Grove
2. Peebles
3. New Boston
4. ISJ

5-7 are pretty tight but I strongly feel Whiteoak and Fairfield’s schedules are much more difficult and records aren’t far off.

5. Whiteoak
6. Fairfield
7. Green

8. Manchester
9. ND
10. East
11. Clay
