Add to that Logan Hocking School district is closed today due to a threat. Athens/VC and Warren/LE Sectional tournament games may not happen for that reason.

I think if the roadways to the school are passable then they’ll have them....but if flooding is so bad in the schools that are traveling there, maybe not.

Correct, Jackson City Schools are closed today.
But I was just informed by a player that the games are still on as planned at the High School... best information I have at this time.

Thanks for the info. It’s part of what makes this a great site.

Jackson tonight should be Great.

Oak Hill and Meigs followed by Ironton and Burg

Heck Southeastern will be great too.

Waverly and Jackson followed by Gallipolis and ZT.

In Jackson, I think Oak Hill/Meigs is first game tonight (6:00pm), and then Burg/Ironton follows that.

And you're absolutely correct, both locations have great games tonight! I think Southeastern will have 2 battles on their hands!

Are the games at Jackson a “split session”?

I believe the OHSAA has made ALL of the doubleheader Sectional games split sessions unfortunately ... at least that is what the Logan AD has told me ...

Hmm, girls games sectionals were not split sessions but boys are. Guess that’s how it goes.

Pfloyd: I don’t believe the D4 sectional finals on 2/27 and 2/28 are split sessions. They are listed as 6:15 and 8:00 start times.

The Jackson Games are listed as 6:00 and 8:30. This implies split sessions.

Not true, dependent on the Sectional site, crowd size and capacity, will be necessary at some sites, not at others.
