This should be a good one.

New Boston hasn’t been to the Convo for a while and for that reason alone the Tigers are easy To pull for.

Good luck.

Glenwood has been struggling as of late. This will not be a cake-walk for them.

I still look for Glenwood to make their first Convo trip since 2000, however.

These two teams are pretty equal in my opinion.

Fairfield beat Whiteoak 58-47 in Leesburg, New Boston defeated Whiteoak 57-46 in Mowrystown.

Fairfield won over Peebles 74-71 in Leesburg, while NB lost at Peebles 72-67.

Fairfield lost to West Union at home 88-71, New Boston lost to WU at home 71-66.

Fairfield beat Clay in the tournament at Northwest 69-43, while NB defeated Clay twice this year. New Boston beat Clay 63-60 away and 81-35 at home.

Should be an excellent game............depends who wants it more and who shows up for each team...........Good Luck to both! Go Tigers!

Whoever controls tempo wins this game. I like Fairfield early, but would not be surprised if New Boston wins. Fairfield's defense could tire out the Tigers who have a much shorter bench, and also the experience factor on this stage goes to Fairfield as well. 2 New coaches, so that is a stalemate IMO, but I would give the motivational edge to Cox at NB, him and his kids will want it bad!

WO playing much better right now and recently beat Fairfield. Both NB and Fairfield seem to play in higher scoring games. I can see this thing getting in the mid 70s or 80s. If that's the case it'll be the team who can string together maybe a couple defensive stops that wins. Will be a dandy for sure!

Should be a great game. Alot will depend on who's bench steps up with quality minutes. Should be a great game for the right to go to "The Convo" and basketball 30.

This should be a good game. Fairfield a decent haul to Northwest. Fairfield can play fast with New Boston. To me this is the unpredictable game of all the tournament games left. It can go many different ways. I think NB more talented but this is anyone’s game IMO

Fairfield 67
New Boston 61

Or

New Boston 70
Fairfield 63

Tigers has lost 2 games all year to D4. 5 of 7 losses to D3 teams. Peebles beat em early in season by 5

How the been playing bad lately? Went 5 and 2 last 7 and won over sw and Nd last week of season. But if 15-7 with losses to west n OT who played piketon to end tough lost to 2 seed west union by5 and lost twice to D3 3 seed eastern pike.

Caldwell gets dunks in this game. Junior will score 20 or more and hit 5 3s. Could be soc 1 POY next year. Kid can stroke it with anyone around. 6 foot 7 shooter! If Leesburg dont guard him he will ROAST THE LIONS and I ain't LION about that

Fairfield expects to get to the convo every year; has been there probably 8 of the last ten years. Strength of schedule prepares them for tourney play. Not sure when the last time New Boston has been there. Fairfield's speed and better defense gives them the edge in this game. Will be close but Fairfield wins this one and makes another trip to the Convo.

This is an intriguing game. As previously stated, Fairfield's schedule prepares them for this. However, I feel like the SHAC is a little down compared to years past (I've seen 4-5 SHAC teams this year and the talent level just seems a little down from normal). So that strength of schedule isn't going to be anything drastic. New Boston plays a few good teams a year in EP twice, West Union, etc. I do think New Boston is more talented, and they'll be hungry for their first Convo appearance in years.
