Have they hired Kight? Or anyone else? Whoever they hire I hope they get the support they need and deserve! I don’t think it is the administration that doesn’t support but parents and Booster president! I hear his boys play football and he’s all about that! Gave Hill a hard time about everything! Good luck to ever is hired!!

Heard Eastern hired or is going to hire Newland to do both football and basketball. Good move, that way there won't be the the competition between coaches for the players time in the summer. Meigs should have done the same.

Read in the paper where Newman lost his first game against Kyger Creek. That's one of many teams my boy never lost to.

Ole'Bud stated earlier in this post the following; "I am interested to see who will replace the worst boys basketball coach in the history of Eastern HS. 5 years - 0 tournament wins"

Did Eastern win a tournament game last season? I believe Meigs did last season and took the #2 Ranked team to the brink before falling short! Just asking Ole'Buddy?

Eastern can't keep a good coach. When the talent runs dry they start chasing it at other schools.

Seems like a good guy.Any coach who encourages a kid to play multiple sports is OK in my book. I have to go watch more BBall now.
